Mr. Sammie L. Gordon Jr., Principal

Sheridan Elementary School would like to welcome its new principal, Mr. Sammie L. Gordon Jr.  Mr. Gordon is an Orangeburg native who served as a classroom teacher in grades 2nd through 5th for nine years and as an assistant principal for seven years in Orangeburg Consolidated School District Five. He is looking forward to working with Sheridan Elementary School’s students, parents, faculty and staff to ensure that we will have a great school year and that Sheridan will Rise Above Expectations in 2015- 2016.

"I bring greetings from Atlanta, Georigia.  I graduated from Claflin University with a B.A in Sociology and graduated from S.C.State University with a M.Ed in Counselor Education. I enjoy learning new things, reading and spending time with family and friends.  I am looking forward to being a Superstar!"
